One Hackney- On a mission to ensure the future we al deserve- bigger and brighter!

We are the YBPA (Young Black Positive Advocates) of Hackney and our group is made up of 15-16 year olds from Hackney Free and Clapton Girls. Last year we took part in a summer leadership programme ran by the Metropolitan Black Police association and formed the foundations of recognition for the youth of Hackney. Our mission is to bring awareness to all youths about their rights, education and life. We have already began our campaign with a show in May called 'Street Dreamz' where we had local stars and well known youth from Hackney entertain the youth while also passing on the message of the importance of education.
